Hi, I’m William, a DNS and Email Security Engineer with a background in networking, cybersecurity, and internet infrastructure.
I studied Computer Networks and Cybersecurity at the University of Portsmouth, where I became fascinated by one of the technologies most people use every day without ever thinking about it: DNS.
Today, I work with DNS infrastructure, domain security, email authentication, and network troubleshooting. Over the years, I’ve seen how unnecessarily complicated these subjects can sound when they’re explained only for engineers.
That’s why I created this blog.
My goal is simple: explain DNS, email security, and internet infrastructure in a way that is technically accurate but easy to understand, even if you’ve never configured a DNS record before.
